KronuPrivacy Policy
Kronu is a leave-on-time alarm. It needs no account, and we run no server for your data. This page lists what stays on your iPhone and what leaves it.
What stays on your iPhone
Your alarms, routines, exit records, streaks and settings are kept in the app's private storage on your phone. The widgets read a small copy of them on the same phone. We cannot see any of this. It can be part of your own iPhone or iCloud backup, under your Apple account.
Calendar
If you connect your calendar, Kronu reads your upcoming events on your iPhone to work out when you need to leave. It never changes your calendar. Event titles, notes and guests are not sent to us or to anyone else. You choose which calendars are watched, and you can turn calendar access off in iPhone Settings at any time.
Location and travel time
To work out the travel time for an event, Kronu asks Apple Maps for a route through Apple's MapKit. Apple receives the event's address and, if you allow location access, your current location, and answers with the trip time. Kronu does not store your location, track it or send it to us. It asks for location only while the app is in use. Without it you type the travel time yourself. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
Alarms and notifications
Alarms are set with Apple's AlarmKit and nudges are notifications scheduled on your phone. They do not pass through any server of ours.
Purchases
Payments are handled by Apple. To unlock Pro on your devices the app uses RevenueCat, Inc., which receives your purchase information and a random app user ID. It does not receive your name, email, alarms or calendar. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
Analytics
To see which parts of the app work and where people get stuck, the app sends anonymous usage events to Google Analytics for Firebase (Google LLC). For example: onboarding was finished, a permission was answered, a countdown started, the exit was on time or a number of minutes late, the streak length, the sound or theme chosen, a purchase or trial with its product and price, and whether you are on the free plan, a trial or Pro. App version, device model and country are included. Event titles, addresses, alarm and routine names and your location are never sent, and no advertising identifier is used. Health
Kronu is not a medical product. It does not ask about your health or a diagnosis and does not collect health data.
What we don't do
No ads, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling of data. This website uses no cookies and loads nothing from other sites.
Keeping and deleting
Delete an alarm or routine in the app and it is gone. Deleting the app deletes everything it kept on your phone. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. If you write to support we keep the conversation for up to two years and delete it sooner on request.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
